REMODELING, if we can just get through the process the dust the mess, then the end result is wonderful. I can only speak for me because I don't want to be all up in through nobody else's business. I am being remodeled as we speak, my life, my home, my marriage, my friendships. All are under construction and let me tell you some of the stuff I see I don't like, because God has started some piles, the keep, the maybe, and the throw this away pile. I am amazed at what is landing in the throw this away a pile. Some of the stuff and people in the throw away pile are things that mean so much to me. You may not believe this but last night God allowed me to have a dream one in which He showed me some people and things that I had to leave behind and there was mass confusion I couldn't even remember how to get home so I kept going back to where I was to start over to get home. SO to wake up to this word has tears in my eyes because I know that it hurts but this pain He will take away too. God has been keeping me these last few months and where as some thought I would crumble and fall I am stronger and better so much better and the enemy is mad as hell.
I take solace in the fact that I know that God's promises are yeah and amen and what He has said will come to pass no matter what this demolition process of remodeling looks like. I tell you standing back looking at it now things look a grand hot mess, is overwhelming. I feel like I am covered in dirt. But everytime I see someone they tell me how great I look and you must be feeling better you look good girl and that is because God is doing all the moving and even though some of the things that are being moved torn down and thrown in the this is garbage pile I know He has me so I smile even though it hurts I smile. I encourage you as I was encouraged by mentor this morning and my big brother who don't know each other but both had the same message for me just don't loose focus. The enemy sees just where you are headed and he wants to get you off track. This means some phone calls and text messages you can't answer. You are going to have to sit in the house and listen at the doorbell ring and be knocked on and mentally say I am not at home.
Thank you Jesus that my breakthrough is just around the bend I am coming into my 7th day my 7th lap and the wall is going to fall. I will definitley be able to testify that my enemies are my footstool. You see God is preparing a feast for me with the harvest that's coming in and I have to stand and endure while he sits all my enemies at the table. Once they are all seated He will let me take my rightful place at the head of the table so they can see all HIS Glory none of Shon's but all of GOD's.
So this morning whatever uncomfortable dusty spot you are in know that this too shall pass.
Blessed to Be a Blessing,
Shon Garner Cole

The process of remodeling transforms the inside of a house or business in order to update it, make it more modern and effective, and save the cost of buying something new. Remodeling takes what already exists and reconfigures it into something different. If any of you have remodeled your home, you know how disruptive it can be. Dust, dirt, and chaos seem to take over. But in order for the new to be made manifest, the old must be dismantled.
Many Christians are looking for a blessing but don't want to go through the remodeling process in their lives. Yet, brokenness is the key to your break-through - to your knowing God in a deeper, more glorious, more amazing way. God is not going to bless you if He can't remodel you. In order to remodel you, He has to tear old, sinful character qualities out and put new ones in.
Brokenness is not an emotional experience of an event. Brokenness is an act of the will - surrendering your will to God. To be broken means to say yes to what God wants despite what you want. To be broken is a decision to humble yourself and acknowledge your need for help. Brokenness occurs when God strips you of your self-sufficiency and gets rid of your pride so that the life of Christ can be made manifest in you.
Paul said this in 2 Corinthians 4:11, "We who live are constantly being delivered over to death for Jesus' sake, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh." We undergo problems, difficulties, and frustrations so that the life of Christ may be made known through us.
