As We Slept the Night Away
"It's morning and we slept the night away, yes we've stolen this moment, we can't turn back the hands of time, we forgot to face on simple fact we both belong to someone else as we slept the night away". I believe those are the right words, penned by Shirley Murdock and then Kelly Price. I don't know if they even knew the reality and scriptural implications of the words. But here it goes so many times we play with the enemy, we lay down with the enemy stealing moments hardly ever with the intention of getting so caught up that we sleep there all night. For some it really is one night, for some that night goes on and on and on. You see we want to profess I am a Christian, I love the Lord, some of us are card carrying, bible toting, speaking in tongue Christians and we get caught up in that stolen moment. At that time our flesh wins and tells us nobody will know. We forget we belong to someone else (GOD) and most importantly we forget that others may not know, but God knows, and so do you. Check this out, so many of us think we are doing something that has never been done before, well the word says there is nothing new under the sun. So your night with the enemy may have been drugging all night, someone else may have committed the most heinous of crimes. someone else literally slept with the one that was forbidden. No one really knows but you and God. There are times when we end up in these situations unbeknownst to us, like David, sleeping in Saul's house, when David went in he went with the entent of doing what he was asked to do, little did he know that he was sleeping with the enemy. Then there are those of us like Samson we knowingly sleep with the enemy playing the game thinking we can out smart out maneveur the enemy. Look how he got all caught up.
I don't know what your enemy is and I don't want you to forget that it's really not a secret the one who has the ability to put you in heaven or hell knows. Some of us really do forget about the fact that we belong to someone else, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Then there are those with that I am going to do it just this one time and before you know it, it's morning and you have slept the night away. You got into this mess with the intent that this will only be for a few hours and the next thing you know the sun is coming up, where did that time go? Now, before you think oh this is not for me because she is talking about adultery, fornicating, sleeping with folks, but know this, this covers so much more people and sin is sin. The stolen phone calls to him/her when God has already blessed you with a spouse, the phone call where you gossip and complain, the stealing, the drugging, the over indulgence of whatever you over indulge in; all of it is sin. I don't want to weigh you down, but before you get in that bed, remember you can't take the moment back.
Some of us may at this time have no regrets about what we are doing, but we are making justifications to do it, red flag. I beseech you all to wake up it's morning time. Get out of bed with the enemy. Don't let another night come where you slumber with the wrong one. Whoever or whatever your enemy is - the thing that will keep you from reaching the mark, keep you from spending eternity with God, let it or them go.
It's morning so wake-up and open the door to your mind, heart, soul, house and kick the enemy out. Don't sleep another night away with the enemy. Remember time lost will be no more.

What I Thought Was Broken Was Only Bent
Ten years not one word spoken
Both of us somewhere doing our own thing
each wondering what had cost our bond to be broken.
There were so many times when I needed you there,
but I never picked up phone, go against what I
thought you wanted I wouldn't dare.
The other night in prayer, I told God I missed you,
and there were things with you I wanted to share.
It's amazing to me how fast He moved, to turn around
and be able to physically embrace you.
So many lessons, I learned from us being apart
the first one being never let someone else tell me
what is in someone else's heart.
Time that has been wasted will be no more.
However, I am thankful, that God again opened the door.
It was great to see that what the devil meant for bad,
God turned it around for our good. We stood and talked
and it was like for us STILL is how time stood.
Amazing, is how I feel, and God sent you back at the most
critical time, you helped me to understand that, I was doubting
what is a reality to the person going through, I can't relate
because I am not walking in that shoe.
I am so glad that what seemed broken was only bent.
Thank you God because back to me my big sister you sent.

Not the How, the When but the What
There are times when God gives us an instruction, and immediatley we start worrying about the how or the when, and the truth is we only need to be concerned with the what. If God tells you something He gives you the what and He expects us to trust Him for the How and the when. That is proven all throughout the bible. Back in Genesis - the what was don't eat from a certain tree or you will surely die, well Eve allowed the devil to get her concerned with the how and the when I wasn't there, but I can imagine she wanted to know how much difference it would be if she ate from the tree, and when and if she would really die. She ignored the what-DON'T EAT from that tree. God told Moses to go and tell Pharoah let my people go(the what). Moses immediately wanted to know how, because he stuttered, God sent someone with Him. Then they get to the red sea instead of concentrating on the what they started worrying about how, God parted the sea for them. Then over in Jericho they were instructed to walk around the wall 6 times and say nothing but on the 7th time to shout in a loud voice. That wall would still be standing if they had worried about why they couldn't say anything the first six trips.
Today I encourage you to concentrate on the "WHAT" God has given you, don't worry about if no one believes it, don't worry about when the promise is coming, because God is not a man that He could or should lie. Don't worry about the how it looks to others, because they don't have a heaven or hell to put you in. They can promise you a thing and when their situation changes they can and often will say I know I promised but, now this happened. I know I'm right about it because I have made promises that circumstances caused me to have to go back and say well what had happened was. It didn't feel good because your word is your bond. Now, I wonder what if I had just stood on the word I gave, trusting in the WORD, He gave how much different things could have been.
In closing if God has given you a "WHAT" then no matter if others believe you are not, no matter that it seems difficult and you are asking in your head, "WHY GOD"? Remember that you only need to concern yourself with doing the "WHAT", so that the promise can come to pass.

When No One Believes You
I have to say this word is confirmation to something I posted yesterday. That we often though we don’t realize it look for validation from others on our gifts and purpose. What we must keep ever present in our minds that many will not give us what we are looking for, the main reason is they don’t understand it, they don’t believe it, they are envious, or simply they know what you don’t and that is you don’t need their validation. For me when someone tells me God told me this, then I usually have only this response that’s good. I don’t have an opinion one way or the other, not because I am jealous, but they only need the approval of the Father. Also people as God gives us things we need to be mindful and keep with us Joseph’s experience, he was so excited about what God showed him that he ran telling it. Look at what happened as a result his brothers – get that brothers not strangers, not neighbors but brothers hated him, threw him in a pit sold him into slavery and that was the beginning of a long span of trials to get to the blessing all because he couldn’t keep his mouth closed. In my walk and in my calling I have realized that there are times when really you just have to shut up. If you must tell your news to someone tell it to God. Over the weekend I saw in so many places postings that said when someone shows you who they are believe it. Well know this, that sometimes people are mirroring what you showed them unaware to you. Because in our minds we were only sharing what God gave or doing what God said. This is what comes to mind and this was shared with me last night and it came back in a word this morning old Saul who was all pumped up and religious righteous ready to persecute those who were blaspheming seeing no wrong in his action. Before we feel as if people have shown us themselves we need to ask what was our part in this whole little show. You see when Saul fell off the horse he didn’t immediately get up and become Paul, he had to be prepared for this new walk as do you and I.

When No One Believes In You
April 16th, 2012
It’s a wonderful day to be a child of God. Have you ever encountered disbelief from family and friends? You shared your vision with them and no one believed it was possible. Have you ever felt alone in this crowded world? It seemed as though you were fighting to be noticed. Have you ever felt your back against the wall? No matter what you said or did, nothing seemed to change. Have you ever wondered why God chose you? Have you ever questioned your calling? Have you ever doubted your abilities? Have you ever cried yourself to sleep at night? So often in our lives, the above questions become reality to us. Have you been there? Are you there now?
Today, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you. My friend, what do you do … When No One Believes In You? What do you do when your dream is criticized by your surroundings? Do you give up on yourself? Do you walk away in tears? Do you proceed as God commanded? What do you do? The Bible declares in Isaiah 55:8 - For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, saith the LORD. The first thing you must understand about the thing God has spoken to you is, what God has spoken and promised will not be understood or accepted by carnal-minded people. If God spoke it to you, then you were the only one to hear Him. Therefore, those who did not hear His voice will always question the promise (1 Samuel 3:4-9). You have to get to a point of no return. So what if no one believes. Do you? The Bible declares 2 Corinthians 1:20 - For all the promises of God in Him are yea, and in Him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.
My brother, my sister, what do you do … When No One Believes In You? The second thing you must understand about the thing God has spoken to you is, He made no mistake when He chose you. God knows everything about you. He did not pull your name from a hat. He purposed for you to do the work. The Bible declares in Matthew 10:30 - But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. What do you do … When No One Believes In You? The third (and final) thing you must understand about the thing God has spoken to you is, you have been anointed and equipped to fulfill the assignment. God never calls anyone without giving them everything they need to make it. The Bible declares in Luke 12:48 - … For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more. Thought to Remember: When No One Believes In You, remember the above three.

Why Do You Look For the Living Among the Dead
Why do you look for the living among the dead? WOW what a profound question. How many people spend time in the graveyard or imprisoned to their own mentality or someone else's? Jesus said that I will lay down my life but three days later I will pick it up again. Yet still they went, with spices and oils to take care of the body. I think that is the problem with so many of us, we heard what Jesus said, we see the promises written, but the flesh wins and the doubt kicks in and we go looking for Jesus in a dead situation. We must remember that though Jesus is everywhere, He is not a part of everything. So today, please remember that dead men don't talk, and that God is not a man that He can or should lie. His promises are yea and amen.
I am so glad that I know that Jesus is the way and He is the life, so no more wasting time on dead situations, if God don't raise it then it's dead, because Jesus walked around calling the dead from the grave. So unless He tells me to hold on, He plans on breathing on it, then I ain't got time to worry about it.

Father Into Thy Hands
And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost. Luke 23:46
I am not sure why but every time I read about the crucifixion or watch it acted out I cry and tremble. But it doesn't start at the cross my tears start at the last supper. I have heard it said that people know somehow when it it is their time, but I know without a shadow of a doubt that Jesus knew and not only did He know, He knew what it would entail. As humans, we don't like and can't suffer pain but so long, so I truly believe that if we really knew that it was our time and we knew that we would be beaten, mocked, and pierced that we would start negotiations that would put Perry Mason and Johnny Cochran to shame. None the less Jesus said not my will Lord, but your will be done. Over two thousand years ago, He took a journey that even right now, I am crying thinking about, because I know even though I didn't mean to, yesterday and even this morning I am sure I did something or thought something that put Him back on that cross. Every time we sin, and even in our thoughts we hang Him back on that cross. Yes it does cause me to tremble.
I can imagine that Jesus now is looking down smiling and crying at the same time, that the angels are looking and busy moving, trying to somehow make sure that those of us who are assigned too, know and act accordingly to what this entire week and this weekend is about. I have heard people say it wasn't that bad it's called Good Friday, but it's called Good Friday, because Jesus lived His NOW moment (the crucifixion) so we could have our not yet (your future, eternal life). Yes, He went through all that and gave up the ghost not for that day, but because He knew that in three days He would raise up with all power in His hands, and that we would have the chance to live eternal life. But so many are gearing up for the biggest parties. On Sunday, so many are going to feel compelled to put on their new Easter Flock and get to a church, join and never go back. You see we have to want Jesus but most importantly we have to know that wanting Him means giving yourself away so that He can use you.
I want hold you long, but many of us have fasted the last almost forty days, I know I have and in all my times of fasting this has been the hardest one ever. Because this time it was more than giving up something I like; this time I asked God to create in me a clean heart, to purge me and to show me all that wasn't right with me. You might be saying oh but I am saved. Well it's those of us that are saved that should have saw the biggest change during a fast. Because God was cleaning out and pouring in and it wasn't pretty it didn't feel good. Just like the devil was there sitting there every minute tempting Jesus when He went in the dessert he has been here with me time and time again trying to get me to give up. He has come in the form of people I love, people that I like, people that I don't care for, in my finances, at my job, with my friends, with my car, in my home all that yes the enemy and his imps were at work hard and that let me know that I was right where God wanted me and that the enemy was scared.
Last night I got the revelation that the devil ain't concerned about my right now, but just like Jesus knows and died for my not yet, the enemy is terrified by it. So today, I like Jesus say Father into thy hands I commend myself. I want to be used, I want to go where you say go, I want to stand for what you say stand for and help who you say help no matter what I feel.
I pray that each of you reading this, remembers it's about all He endured and it started before the cross, and it continues until forever. So today would you join me in doing what Jesus did and commend yourselves into the hands of the Father. Enjoy your weekend, but remember that it's not about the barbecues, the baskets, the new clothes, it is about Jesus.

I'll Trust You Lord
There are times in our lives when if we are truly honest we wonder God where are you? If you have never had that time hold on it's coming if not then, you need to question who are you reallyserving? You see in His word God tells us that WHEN not if we find our selves in trials what to do. The fact that He has allowed an instruction manual of sorts to be written means that we all will go through something. I know what it feels like to feel as if you are the only one. I know what it feels like to have friends and family alike talk about you in discussion as if you are crazy always got this or that going on. Well, you know what I found out God chose you, to show them that they think they got it together and even though it looks bad now He knew in the end you wouldn't make Him look bad. He is not concerned with what it looks like He is concerned about what He has planned for you coming to pass and people seeing His glory manifested right before their eyes.
Somebody out there is going through something right now and they feel all alone, know this God has allowed you this time and space to TRUST HIM, man didn't give you anything and He can't take anything away. Keep in mind everything that you are going through right now is employed because God said it in Romans 28:8. God also had to give these things permission to even take place. The devil has no authority or power. Often times he is not even thinking of you but God is and when he says he is looking to and fro to seem who he can devour, I believe God mentioned your name.
For the person who is struggling with self-esteem issues God made you in His image you are fearfully and wonderfully made. For the person out of work, keep praying and believing knowing that all things are done in His time and not ours, remember this that yes you have been out of work a day maybe a year, maybe more but a thousand days to us is but one in the Father's eyes. For the person whose relationship is on the brink of disaster, know this that nothing you say can save it, so TRUST HIM. Let the other person be won by your actions and not your words. For the person who feels like you can't make it another day, tell the enemy right now, he doesn't win, that you are victorious this fight is already fixed. Trust Him just like Abraham did, do you know how much trust it takes to believe that when you are that old God is going to give you a child, and even when you listened to your wife and messed up God didn't hold it against you He kept His word. Then, God tells you to sacrifice that son and faithfully you head to the mountain ready for the sacrifice believing that there will be a ram in the bush and because you trusted Him there was. Then again, you feel like I have shown myself faithful, BUT GOD, is not done yet. Here HE comes again and says come out from amongst your family, and gives you no place in particular to go, but you move and then He makes you the father of many nations. All I can say is I don't know where this thing you are in or facing right now is going. I do know that if you trust Him and don't give up no matter what it looks like, no matter what comes your way, in the end He is going to do just what He said He would do. You know when He said the first shall be last and last shall be first, well get ready you are moving to the head of the line. I said it once I'll say it again let man talk, because rather you are doing good or bad you will have spectators and they are spectators because God chose you and not them.
