DON'T PUT HIM IN A BOX

In this day in time where going to church and given has become as easy as clicking a button and signing on the passage below is so needed. Why you say, because you have pastors that stand in church, in pulpits and want to convict their members for taking advantage of technology and the ability to worship God anywhere at anytime. I have even heard them speak of this technology as a trick of the enemy. But I have seen the flip side of it. I have seen people come to Christ and want a relationship with Him that never entered a church building. If we are honest most of us don't have that personal encounter with God in church anyway. I know I didn't it was a Thursday evening and I was sitting in my room listening at gospel music on the radio. So I say that as God was never in a box, we should not become so threatened by technology and place Him in a box starting today.

I am happy that now you can get Jesus 24/7 so to speak and you don't have to wait til the doors of the church open on Sunday to give yourself away so God can use you.

Blessed to Be A Blessing,
Shon Garner Cole

Psalm 150:1
Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.

Before there were churches, before there were preachers, before Christ came to this earth, God had created His sanctuaries. On the mountaintops, God was worshipped. In the valleys, God was worshipped. In the forests, by lakesides, in caves; wherever God's handiwork was found, there He was worshipped.

We can praise God anywhere. Church isn't a place, it is an entity made up of living parts.Wherever we gather in the name of God, there is His sanctuary. Lift your voices to the Lord. Praise Him wherever you may be. He is with you where you are.

Prayer: I will praise and worship You with all my heart and mind and soul. Hear my words, Lord, and be pleased by the love I have for You. Amen.
