I know I have been quiet for a while but that is because if God ain't telling me to share then I ain't sharing. The problem many of us have is we are the ones trying to build our own platforms, giving ourselves, gifts, titles and talents that He didn't. Well I know to whom much is given much is required and I am not trying to take anything He didn't give me nor am I going to say anything He didn't tell me to say. This word is a few days old, and God has been dealing with me on it. However, I was so overwhelmed with a decision I was trusting Him for an answer for I couldn't write on it effectively. Now that, I am peace with my decision, I can share this word. What God wanted me to let you know in addition to this word, is sometimes you need someone else and sometimes you don't. Even when that someone else comes through it's because God has placed them there. You are in need of paying your light bill and your cousin shows up with the money, God did it. You need something to eat and a friend invites you out to dinner on them, God did that too. However, we are about to embark up on a season, where those resources are shut off and the only thing you will be able to do is TRUST HIM. He wants to know that we will Trust Him even if doesn't send the boat in the flood. He wants to know that we will call on Him and trust that He has a plan even if the relationship ends, if you loose the house they repo the car. Will you still trust Him? Oh I know first hand what it is like to be overwhelmed. There was a point when I was feeling like God why, I serve you to the best of my ability, however, here I am trying to figure out what next, how do I keep doing this? His response was the same as below Trust me. When you are hungry I feed you, when you need comforting I comfort you. So whoever you are and whatever it is, know this if publisher's clearing house don't ring the bell God still has you. If the child acts up, God has them too, give them to Jesus and stop holding on to what you can't control. If the spouse walks out, God still has you and give them to Jesus. If the bank account is in the negative, God's grace is sufficient. I know because I tried Him and there have been a many nights in this last year that I cried more than I prayed, but God was right there catching every tear. So what do you do when you are overwhelmed Trust Him.
Note: I do this, because if you are like me when things like this are personal and not just someone we don't know, it's easier to say if God did it for Shon, He can do it for me. When God first told me to be transparent I was like God are you serious, why because I was raised with you don't air your dirty laundry. Well God has shown me this, that your story, your testimony is what He uses sometime to show people that He is real and He can. You all be blessed.

WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU’RE OVERWHELMED?
by Gary Wilkerson
What do you do when you’re overwhelmed? What do you do when it seems the odds
are against you or you don’t have enough resources?
Do you go home at night and just continue being stressed, full of anxiety and
fear? If you want to get to the place where you see victory in your life, you
will have to fight for it — and in the fight God will supply the strength. He
will supply the resources that you need and you will come out of the fight as a
worshiper of Jesus Christ.
Three years ago my father, David Wilkerson, turned the leadership of World
Challenge over to me. Dad was still here to support and encourage me and if I
ever got in the midst of a battle that I wasn’t quite sure how to handle,
I’d call Dad. In April of 2011 he passed away in an auto accident and I find
myself without that particular resource in my life to help lead World
Challenge. Sometimes when challenging things happen, I feel a little bit of
fear come in. What if I don’t have what it takes? What if I don’t handle
this situation well?
One day as I was thinking these things, the Holy Spirit came over me and
confidence dropped into my heart. I realized that if God was leading me, if He
was saying, “This is the way you should go,” then all I had to do was trust
Him. I don’t have to look at the black line or the red line and see where the
finances are; I have to look to heaven and see what He says for me to do. And
that is what we are doing. We are going to go harder than ever before; we are
going to reach more people than ever before; we are going to touch more
children’s lives than ever before — all because we are not going to let the
enemy cause fear to come into our lives.
Some of you are in a battle right now. It might not be financial. It could be
relational — even problems with your own children. Whatever the battle is, I
have a good word for you — don’t give up in the battle! Don’t give up
interceding! Don’t let limited resources cause you to think that somehow God
is limited in power.
Don’t give up!
