There are times when God gives us an instruction, and immediatley we start worrying about the how or the when, and the truth is we only need to be concerned with the what. If God tells you something He gives you the what and He expects us to trust Him for the How and the when. That is proven all throughout the bible. Back in Genesis - the what was don't eat from a certain tree or you will surely die, well Eve allowed the devil to get her concerned with the how and the when I wasn't there, but I can imagine she wanted to know how much difference it would be if she ate from the tree, and when and if she would really die. She ignored the what-DON'T EAT from that tree. God told Moses to go and tell Pharoah let my people go(the what). Moses immediately wanted to know how, because he stuttered, God sent someone with Him. Then they get to the red sea instead of concentrating on the what they started worrying about how, God parted the sea for them. Then over in Jericho they were instructed to walk around the wall 6 times and say nothing but on the 7th time to shout in a loud voice. That wall would still be standing if they had worried about why they couldn't say anything the first six trips.
Today I encourage you to concentrate on the "WHAT" God has given you, don't worry about if no one believes it, don't worry about when the promise is coming, because God is not a man that He could or should lie. Don't worry about the how it looks to others, because they don't have a heaven or hell to put you in. They can promise you a thing and when their situation changes they can and often will say I know I promised but, now this happened. I know I'm right about it because I have made promises that circumstances caused me to have to go back and say well what had happened was. It didn't feel good because your word is your bond. Now, I wonder what if I had just stood on the word I gave, trusting in the WORD, He gave how much different things could have been.
In closing if God has given you a "WHAT" then no matter if others believe you are not, no matter that it seems difficult and you are asking in your head, "WHY GOD"? Remember that you only need to concern yourself with doing the "WHAT", so that the promise can come to pass.
